The international headquarters open in
On August 9 2004, Vacheron Constantin takes possession of its new manufacturing plant in
Plan‑les-Ouates. The building, designed by
Franco-Swiss architect, Bernard Tschumi, also serves as the company’s international headquarters.
The futuristic building, in the shape of a stylised Maltese cross cut in half, brings together the management, administration and the workshops under the same roof, as in the old days.
“The flowing lines of the metal skin bring a technical as well as a visual coherence to the whole and suggest the fluid interaction between the different management, design and production departments of the manufacturing facility.”
